Mr. Samuel F. Cook, age 80 of Greensburg, KY, passed away Thursday, June 22, 2017, at his home in Greensburg.

Funeral service will be conducted at 1pmCT, Friday, June 23, 2017, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY,with burial to follow in the Wilson Cemetery in Green County with full military honors presented by the Marion County Honor Guard. Visitation will be from 10amCT until 1pmCT. Friday at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home in Greensburg.

He was born November 3, 1996. He died Thursday, June 22, 2017, in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 80 years, seven months, and 19 days.

Survivors include:

  • His wife: Carol Cook of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters and one son-in-law: Cindy McNeely of Flora, IL; and Lynn & Burrell Pittman of South Carolina

  • Three sons and one daughter-in-law: Ken Elmore of Greensburg, KY; T.J. and Sam Cook, Jr. of Sandoval, IL; and Jeff Cook of Flora, IL

  • Three brothers: Chuck Cook and Victor Cook both of Illinois and Richard Boothman of North Carolina

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Eleven great grandchildren
