John Paul Haggard, Jr. (Shuee), age 45, passed away on Sunday, June 11, 2017, in Casey County, KY.

There will be a visitation held 5pm-7pmCT/6pm-8pmET, Wednesday, June 14, 2017, at the McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY. There will not be a service held as cremation wishes will be honored following the visitation.

Born March 30, 1972, in Lafayette, Tippecanoe County, IN, he was a son of Diana Vessels Beedle and the late John Paul Haggard. He died Sunday, June 11, 2017, in Casey County, KY, at the age of 45 years, 2 months, and 12 days.

He was a former diesel mechanic and shop foreman. He enjoyed being with his family, motorcycles, and racing, as he was the 4 year track champion in factory street stock cars in Benton Co., IN. He was baptized in Indiana.

He is survived by his wife, Iris Schmidt Shuee, whom he wed on September 9, 1991, and the following:
  • Daughters: Patrisha Nicole Turner (and Anthony Jacot) of Ft. Collins, CO; Brandi Lynn Luck (and Shawn) of Lafayette, IN; Hailee Zweck (and Marianne Degenstin) of Lafayette, IN; Tiffani Franklin (and Wesley) of Lafayette, IN; Johni Shuee of Kings Mountain, KY; and Elizabeth Perez (and Valentin) of West Lafayette, IN

  • Mother: Diana Vessels Beedle (and David) of Attica, IN

  • Maternal grandfather: Donald L. Vessels of Pine Village, IN

  • Sister, Nissa Lynn Myers (and Paul) of Guyton, GA

  • Step-sisters, Tonya Depugh (and Ryan) and Ashley Beedle, both of Williamsport, IN

  • Son-in-law, Joshua Paul Turner of Lafayette, IN

  • And twelve grandchildren
