Ronald Cochran, 71, Casey Co., KY (1946-2017)

He was retired from the Chrysler Corporation, a Farmer and a Member of The Block Pentecostal Holiness Church. He was the son of the late Issac Preston & Rosetta Peyton Cochran. He was the widower of Nelda Sue Scott Cochran. His wife, Wanda Ann Brockman, survives. He leaves 23 direct living descendants.

Ronald Cochran, age 71, of Liberty, KY passed away on Monday May 8, 2017, at his residence.

Funeral Services will be held 10amCT/11amET, Thursday May 11, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Gary Lavender and Bro. Gary Northern officiating. Burial will be in the Peyton Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Wednesday May 10, 2017 and after 7amCT/8amET, on Thursday May 11, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

He was born in Liberty, Casey County, KY on March 12, 1946. He was a son of the late Issac Preston & Rosetta Peyton Cochran. He died Monday, May 8, 2017, in Liberty, Casey County, KY, at the age of 71 years, one month, and 26 days.

Ronald was retired from the Chrysler Corporation, a farmer and a member of The Block Pentecostal Holiness Church.

Survivors include:
  • His spouse: Wanda Ann Brockman Cochran

  • Three sons: Tim Cochran and Scott Cochran (Angela) both of Liberty, KY; and Christopher Cochran (Dawn) of Enterprize, AL

  • One daughter: Pam Garrett (Shawn) of Kokomo, IN

  • Twelve grandchildren: Zackery Cochran, Allison Cochran, Courtney (Steven) Huff, Spencer Garrett, Cole Riley, Kaylin Cochran, Lindsey Cochran, Eli Cochran, Kelcee Cochran, Christopher Cochran Jr., Kayla (Clay) Armstrong, and Josh Waters

  • Seven great grandchildren

  • Two sisters: Christine McLerran and Norma Alcorn both of Lexington, KY

  • And one brother: Jerry Cochran of Liberty, KY
Preceding him in death besides his parents was his first wife, Nelda Sue Scott Cochran, and one brother: Bud Cochran.
