Patricia Ann Young of the Little Barren Community of Green County, KY, daughter of Betty Brown Young of Green County and the late Len Ray Young, was born on May 8, 1967 in Glasgow, KY and departed this life on Sunday, May 7, 2017 at her home with her family by her side. She was 49 years, 11 months, and 29 days of age.

The funeral services for Patricia Ann Young will be conducted at 4pmCT, Tuesday, May 9, 2017 at the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church with burial to follow in the Little Barren Cemetery. Bro. Meryl Young and Bro. Neil Price will officiate. Visitation is requested after 7amCT, Tuesday at the Little Barren Separate Baptist Church until time of the funeral service.



Pallbearers: Ricky Young, Kayden Young, Bradley Thompson, Tony Young, Wayne Thompson, and Lile Thompson. Honorary pallbearers: Cathy Morgan, Donna Rogers, Brent Lile, Darryl Young, Britt Young, and Jason Morgan.

Besides her mother, she is survived by:
  • A brother and sister-in-law: Ricky Len and Sharla Young of Green County, KY

  • Two nephews and a niece: Kayden Young, Bridger Young, and Josie Young

  • Paternal uncle and aunt: Grady and Ann Thompson of Green County, KY

  • Three uncles and two aunts: Bobby and Linda Brown, Orville Brown, William Henry Brown, Sue and James Miller and Francis Tarry all of Barren County, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends

The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the Family Memorial Fund, which can be made at the funeral home or church.
