Mary Garrett of Campbellsville, daughter of the late John Albertis Riggs and Ella Lorenza Newton Riggs, was born May 17, 1945, in Nelson County, KY. She died at 6:54 A.M., Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Campbellsville. Age: 71

The funeral services will be at 12pmCT/1pmET, Saturday, April 22, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. J. Alvin Hardy. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation is 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Friday, April 21, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

Mary Garrett of Campbellsville, KY, daughter of the late John Albertis Riggs & Ella Lorenza Newton Riggs, was born May 17, 1945, in Nelson County, KY. She died Thursday, April 20, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 71 years, 11 months, and three days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Campbellsville Church of Christ.

Mary united in marriage to Mac Arthur Garrett in October 1962 and he preceded her in death November 17, 2007.

She is survived by:
  • Three daughters and two sons: Mac Annette Perkins and husband, Michael, Paula Garrett, Mandy Garrett, Arthur Lee Garrett and Joseph Garrett and wife, Shelly, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Eleven grandchildren

  • Ten great-grandchildren

  • And many other relatives and friends
