Mary Jane Walker, 84, Ramsey, IN/Adair County, KY native (1932-2017)

She was native of Christine, Adair County, KY, the daughter of the late William Peter & Maudie Ann Burton McQueary. She was the widow of James Willard Walker. She leaves six direct living descendants. She was a retired beautician and attended New Middletown United Methodist Church in Harrison County, IN.

Mary Jane Walker, 84, of Ramsey, IN, formerly of Adair County, KY, died Saturday, April 15, 2017, at Clarks Loving Care in New Albany, IN.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET Wednesday, April 19, 2017, at Beanblossom-Cesar Funeral Home, 200 N Oak Street, Corydon, IN. Pastor Tim Johnson will officiate. Burial will be in Cedar Hill Cemetery in Corydon. Visitation will be after 9amCT/10amET, Wednesday at the funeral home.



Pallbearers will be Jared Ketterman, Wendell McQueary, Edward McQuaide, Mike Silagi, Rollin McQueary and Russell McQueary.

She was born July 1, 1932, in Christine, Adair County, KY, She was the daughter of the late William Peter & Maudie Ann Burton McQueary. She died Saturday, April 15, 2017, in New Albany, Floyd County, IN, at the age of 84 years, nine months, and 14 days.

She was a retired beautician and attended New Middletown United Methodist Church in Harrison County, IN.

She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James Willard Walker; her brothers, Elvin, Walker, Oley, Ivan and William Earl McQueary; and her sisters, Delia Burton, Ellen McQuaide and Dorothy Cornelius.

Survivors include:
  • Her daughter: Kelli Lynn Stone of New Salisbury, IN

  • Her grandchildren: Jared Ketterman (Caitlin) and Abigail Stone

  • Her great grandchildren: Grayson, Tallulah and Harrison Ketterman

  • And her sister-in-law: Vena McQueary.
