He was an employee of the Kentucky Transportation Cabinet. He was the son of Inez Sharp Coffman of Hustonville, KY & the late Jessie F. Coffman. His wife, Susan Richards Coffman survives. He leaves five direct living descendants.

Garnett Allan Coffman age 48, of Liberty, KY passed away on Sunday April 9, 2017 in Hustonville, KY from injuries sustained in an ATV accident.

Funeral Services will be held 1pmCT/2pmET, Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel, 142 KY Hwy 49, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Gary Allen officiating. Burial will follow in Hustonville Cemetery. Visitation will be held 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Tuesday April 11, 2017 and after 7amCT/8amET, Wednesday April 12, 2017 at Bartle Funeral Home Chapel.

Garnett Allan Coffman was born May 8, 1968 in Danville, Boyle County, KY. He was a son of Inez Sharp Coffman of Hustonville, KY and the late Jessie F. Coffman. He died Sunday, April 9, 2017, in Hustonville, KY at the age of 48 years, 11 months, and one day.

Garnett was an Employee of Kentucky Transportation Cabinet.

Additional survivors, besides his mother, Inez Sharp Coffman, include:
  • His spouse: Susan Richards Coffman

  • Two sons: Scott Coffman of Loretta, KY and Michael Coffman of Liberty, KY

  • One daughter: Stacie Coffman of Danville, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Aundreia and Daniah Ford both of Danville, KY

  • One brother: Elmer Lee Coffman of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister: Amie King of Hustonville, KY
