Mrs. Lones M. Garrison Hall, 88, Green Co., KY (1928-2017)

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. She was also a former kitchen worker, food prep and cook for the Golden Living Center-Green Hill. She was the daughter of the late William Garrison & Pansy McMahan Garrison, and the widow of Scott A. Hall, her husband of 56 years. She leaves 11 direct living descendants.

Mrs. Lones M. Hall, 88, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Monday, March 27, 2017 at the Golden Living Center-Green Hill, Greensburg, KY.

The funeral services for Mrs. Lones M. Hall will be conducted at 1pmCT, Thursday, March 30, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow in the Fry Cemetery. Bro. Larry Wisdom and Bro. Jason Shirrell officiating. Visitation is requested 4pm-8pmCT, Wednesday, March 29, 2017, at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Thursday until time of the funeral service.

Mrs. Lones M. Hall was the daughter of the late William Garrison & Pansy McMahan Garrison. She was born on November 12, 1928 in the Exie Community of Green County, KY, and departed this life on Monday, March 27, 2017 in Greensburg, Green County, KY at the age of 88 years, 4 months, and 15 days of age.

She had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the Fry Baptist Church. She was also a former kitchen worker, food prep and cook for the Golden Living Center-Green Hill.

She united in marriage to Scott A. Hall on December 21, 1946 who preceded her in death on July 23, 2003.

Survivors include:
  • Two daughters: Martha Christie and Susan Hall both of Green County, KY

  • Three grandchildren: Charles Christopher Christie of Greensburg, KY; Rebecca Lynn Christie of Tennessee, and Merrill Wade Hall of Missouri

  • Six great-grandchildren

  • Three brothers and five sisters-in-law: William and Evelyn Garrison, Kenneth and Jorene Garrison, Howard and Ella Garrison all of Larue County, KY; Betty Hall of Campbellsville, KY; and Regina Hall both of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.

    The Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, is in charge of arrangements.

    The family has asked that expressions of sympathy take the form of donations to the family memorial fund, which can be made at the funeral home.
