Anna Faye was a Christian woman and a member of Park Valley Church, Haymarket, VA. She was a native of Faubush, KY, and a resident of Fairfax, VA, at the time of her death. She was the daughter of the late Charles Sherman & Una Myrtle Luttrell Minton, and the widow of Paul W. Meece. She leaves 15 direct living descendants. Her final resting place will be in Nancy, KY

Anna Faye Minton Meece, of Somerset, Ky, passed away Sunday, March 26, 2017 at the Fair Oaks Hospital in Fairfax, VA.

Funeral service for Anna Faye Minton Meece will be 12pmNoonCT, Friday, March 31, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Matthew Dalton & Mike Meece officiating. Visitation will be 10amCT to 12pmNoonCT, Friday. Interment in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 W. Highway 80, Nancy, KY.

She was born Monday, September 20, 1937 in Faubush, Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Charles Sherman & Una Myrtle Luttrell Minton. She died Sunday, March 26, 2017, in Fairfax, VA, at the age of 79 years, six months, and six days.

Anna Faye was a Christian woman and a member of Park Valley Church, Haymarket, VA.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Paul W. Meece; two brothers, Charles Minton, and Ray Minton; a sister, Ruth Blanton; and a grandchild, Rebecca Meece.

Survivors include:
  • A son: Rickie Edward Meece

  • A daughter: Paula Sue (Doug) Langhorne

  • Nine grandchildren: Rachel Knott, Dustin Meece, Dylan Meece, Shanna Langhorne, Jason Langhorne, Josh Langhorne, Phyllis Epperson, Mincey Meece, and Rodney Meece

  • Four great grandchildren: Ryan Miller, Allura Knott, Brennan Knott,and Josiah Langhorne

  • One sister: Ellen (Bill) Meece

  • One brother: Wendell (Eudene) Minton
