Aldena Norfleet, Dunnville, KY (1924-2017)

Mrs. Norfleet was a member of the Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church. She worked for 25 years for the Palm Beach Sewing Factory. She loved her flower garden and working in her yard. She enjoyed quilting and sewing. She was the daughter of the late Durham & Hattie Vest Rainwater and the widow of Curtis Robert Norfleet. She leaves nine direct living descendants

Aldena Norfleet of Dunnville, passed away on Thursday, March 23, 2017, at her residence. She was 92.

Funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Sunday, March 26, 2017, at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Terry Goodin officiating. Burial will follow in the Oak Grove Cemetery. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT/6pm-9pmET, Saturday, March 25, 2017, at the funeral home.



Pallbearers will be Charles Norfleet, Jake Despain, Connor Norfleet, Chad Norfleet, Christopher Spears, Jim Mishler, and Kevin Land.

Born June 24, 1924, in Pulaski Co., KY. She was a daughter of the late Durham and Hattie Vest Rainwater. She died Thursday, March 23, 2017, in Dunnville, KY, at the ageof 92 years, eight months, and 27 days.

Mrs. Norfleet was a member of the Bradley's Pleasure Baptist Church. She worked for 25 years for the Palm Beach Sewing Factory. She loved her flower garden and working in her yard. She enjoyed quilting and sewing.

Survivors include:
  • Her son: Charles (and wife, Barbara) Norfleet of Dunnville, KY

  • Brother: Orville Rainwater of Gibson City, IL

  • Two grandchildren: Chad Edwin Norfleet of Bryantsville, KY; and Christy (and husband, Clint) Bowling of Liberty, KY

  • Five great-grandchildren, Connor Norfleet, Christopher Spears, Jake Bowling, Bre Bowling, and John Bowling.
She was preceded in death by her husband, who passed away on February 15, 2000, Curtis Robert Norfleet; a son, Gerald Norfleet; six brothers, Ernest, Cecil, Clay, Etheridge, Vertis, and Ulen Rainwater; and three sisters, Hazel Delk, Ersie Lane, and Bertha Campbell.
