Billy Joe Kimbler, 60, of Russell Springs, Kentucky, died Tuesday, March 14, 2017 at 2:24amET, at the Taylor Regional Hospital Emergency Room in Campbellsville, KY.

Visitation will be on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 11amCT until 1pmCT at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsvile Street, Columbia, KY, with a graveside service following in Freedom Cemetery, by Freedom Separate Baptist Church, 576 Freedom Church Road, Russell Springs, KY, with Pastor Tom Legg officiating.

He was born April 8, 1956, in Adair County, KY, to the late Joe Landon and Mary Elizabeth Wilkerson Kimbler. He died Tuesday, March 14, 2017, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 60 years, 11 months, and six days.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Joyce Conover.

Survivors include:
  • One daughter: Ginger (Shawn) Lowery of Haltom City, TX

  • Two grandchildren: Zain and Kenzi Lowery

  • Four brothers: Ricky (Cindy) Kimbler, Jeff (Teresa) Kimbler and Donnie Kimbler all of Russell Springs, KY; and Earl Kimbler of Columbia, KY

  • Four sisters: Sheila (Marion) Murphy, Sharon (Linkey) Kimbler, and Judy (Randy) Shanahan all of Columbia, KY; and Lynda York of Russell Springs, KY

  • Several other relatives and friends
