He was a retired employee of General Electric in Louisville, KY. and a U.S. Air Force Veteran. He was a native of Pickett County, TN, and a resident of Cumberland County, KY, a the time of his death. He was the son of the late Dewey Estes Taylor & Edith Lee Cope Taylor, and the widower of Nancy Guinn Taylor. He leaves three direct living descendants.

Edmond Taylor age 78 of Burkesville, KY, passed away Monday, March 13, 2017 at the Medical Center at Bowling Green, KY.

Funeral service will be at 2pmCT, Saturday, March 18, 2017, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in Guinn Cemetery. Family requests visitation on Friday, March 17, 2017 from 1pmCT until 9pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.



Edmond Taylor, 78, Cumberland County, KY (1938-2017)

Edmond was born on September 02, 1938 in Pickett County, TN. He was the son of the late Dewey Estes Taylor & Edith Lee Cope Taylor. He died Monday, March 18, 2017, in Bowling Green, Warren County, KY, at the age of 78 years, six months, and 16 days.

He was a retired employee of General Electric in Louisville, KY. and a U.S. Air Force Veteran.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nancy Guinn Taylor, and five siblings, Jerry Taylor, Herman Taylor, Elwanda Myers, Virginia Taylor, and one infant sister.

Survivors Include:
  • Two sons: Nathan Taylor and his wife Cheryl of Elizabethtown, KY, and Todd Taylor of Burkesville, KY

  • Three brothers: Gilbert Taylor of Byrdstown, TN, Donald Taylor of Austell, GA, and Carl Taylor of Maysville, KY

  • Two sisters: Ann Norad of Glasgow, KY and Sue Howell of Cookeville, TN

  • One grandchild: Ciara Taylor of Elizabethtown, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
