She was born in Green County, KY and was a resident of Columbia, KY. She was the daughter of the late Joe & Tressye Finn Whitlock. Her husband, John Schneider, survives. She leaves one direct and four step- living descendants. Her final resting place will be in Campbellsville, KY

Sandra W. "Sandy" Schneider, age 67, of Columbia, KY, died Friday, March 10, 2017, at her home in Adair County after an illness of two years.

The funeral services for Sandy will be held on Friday, March 17, 2017 at 8:30amCT/9:30amET, at Our Lady of Perpetual Help Catholic Church, 429 N Central Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, with Father Saju Vadakumpadan, C.M.I., officiating. Burial will follow in Brookside Cemetery, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. A prayer service will be held at 3pmCT/4pmET, Thursday, March 16, 2017, followed by visitation until 7pmCT/8pmET, at Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY.

Sandy was born on November 20, 1949 in Greensburg, Green County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Joe & Tressye Finn Whitlock. She died Friday, March 10, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 67 years, three months, and 18 days.

At the time of her death she was of the Catholic faith and was a member of Our Lady Perpetual Help. She was an avid reader and liked to paint in her spare time.

On March 14, Sandy would have celebrated her 28th wedding anniversary with her husband, John Schneider, who survives. Also surviving:
  • A son, Trent Judd and his wife Brittany of Greensburg, KY

  • Four step-children: John Schneider, Jr. of Kentucky; Robert Schneider and Bobby Schneider of Florida; and Joseph Schneider of New York.
