Harley Smith, age 77 of Burkesville, KY passed away on Monday, March 13, 2017 at Cumberland Valley Manor, Burkesville, KY.

Funeral Service Wednesday, March 15, 2017 at 3pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY with burial in the Creasy Cemetery. The family requests visitation on Tuesday, March 14, 2017 from 4pmCT until 9pmCT at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home.

Harley Smith was born in Metcalfe County, KY on October 21, 1939. He was the son of late Raymond & Maynard Davis Smith. He died Monday, March 13, 2017 in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 77 years, four months, and 20 days.

He was a member of Waterview Church of Christ, a member of Marrowbone Fire Department, and a longtime farmer.

Survivors include:
  • His wife: Rheda Ballard Smith of Burkesville, KY

  • Two daughters: Stacy(and David) McIntyre and Jennifer Perry, all of Burkesville, KY

  • One son: Anthony Smith and his wife Carolyn of Burkesville, KY

  • Nine grandchildren: Kendra McIntyre, Landon (and Riley) McIntyre, Eryn Smith, Ethan Smith, Ella Smith, Kimberly Spears, Logan (and Heather) Perry, MaKenzie (and Kurtis) Irwin, Kendel Perry

  • One great grandchild: Emerson McIntyre

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
