Jessie Forrest Mason Reid of Liberty, KY passed away Sunday, March 5, 2017 in Lexington, KY. She was 71 years young.

Graveside services are 2pmCT/3pmET, Wednesday, March 8, 2017 at the Mason Cemetery with Bro. Ryan Allen officiating. Burial will follow service. Visitation is Wednesday from 1pm-2pmCT/2pm-3pmET at the cemetery. Pallbearers are her children and grandchildren.



Jessie Forrest Mason Reid, 71, Casey Co., KY (1946-2017)


Born February 1, 1946 in Casey County, KY, she was the daughter of the late Edgar V. Mason and Lula May Luttrell Mason. She died Sunday, March 5, 2017, in Lexington, Fayette County, KY, at the age of 71 years, one month, and four days.

She worked concurrently for McDonalds and Hickory Hills Market for 21 years. She was also a former employee of the Conservation Office. Jessie was of the Church of Christ faith.

Survivors include:
  • Seven sons, Randy (Glenda) Atwood, Robert (Barbara) Atwood, Chris (Cecilia) Atwood, Shawn Wilkinson, Shannon Luttrell, Shane Luttrell, and Daniel Wilkinson all of Liberty, KY

  • Daughter: Sherri Hoskins of Liberty, KY

  • Thirteen grandchildren; Adam, Kayla, Beth, Matthew, Jonathon, Josh, Tessa, Josh, Rochelle, Justin, Alex, Jordan and Tanner

  • Nine great-grandchildren, Chloe, Hunter, Macie, Isabelle, Lexi, Ethan, Katie, Preston, and Colton

  • A sister: Sharolette Luttrell of Liberty, KY
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by three brothers, Donald E. Mason, Dwain Mason and William Mason.
