She was the daughter of the late James Horace & Elsie Anderson Grider and the widow of Donovan Anderson. She leaves six direct living descendants.

Juanita Anderson, 85, of Russell Springs, died Thursday, March 2, 2017 at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs.

Funeral service for Juanita Anderson will be at 1pmCT, Sunday, March 5, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Charles Edwards, Bro. David Coffey, and Bro. Randy Smith officiating. Visitation will be 5pm-8pmCT, Saturday, March 4, 2017, and after 8amCT, Sunday until funeral time. Interment in the Bethlehem Cemetery. Special music will be by Dean & Sheila McKinley. Pallbearers: Mickey Anderson, Jeff Lawless, Brad Redmon, Greg Redmon Scott Redmon, and Kyle Curry.

She was born March 24, 1931 in Russell County, KY. She was the daughter of the late James Horace & Elsie Anderson Grider. She died Thursday, March 2, 2017, In Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 85 years, 11 months, and six days.

She was a homemaker and a member of Royville Friendship Church.

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband, Donovan Anderson; two brothers, Clifton Grider, Ralph Grider; four sisters, Grace Grider, Elwanda Grider, Almarine Redmon, Mildred Anderson.

Survivors are as follows:
  • Three children: Doug Anderson, Russell Springs, KY; Donna (Gary) Robertson, Russell Springs, KY; Christy (Jamie) Martin, Russell Springs, KY

  • One grandchild: Brett (Carlotta) Robertson, Russell Springs, KY

  • Two great grandchildren: Chase & Cali Robertson

  • Two sisters: Margaret Lawless, Russell Springs, KY; and Lavern (George) Ison; and Russell Springs, KY
