Juanita Cundiff, 81, Adair County, KY (1936-2017)

She was a member of a highly regarded Adair County, KY family. She was the daughter of the late Johnson & Belle Collins Hunter and the widow of Earl Cundiff. She leaves 12 direct living descendants. She was a member of Egypt Christian Church and a sales clerk at Russell & Company for many years.

Juanita Cundiff, 81, of Columbia, died Monday, February 27, 2017 at Signature Healthcare at Summit Manor.

Funeral service will be Friday, March 3, 2017 at 11amCT, at Grissom-Martin Funeral Home, 200 Campbellsville Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Paul Patton and Bro. Michael Helm officiating. Burial will follow in Union Cemetery. 174 Milltown Church Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be after 4pmCT, Thursday, March 2, 2017, at the funeral home.

Juanita Cundiff, 81, Adair County, KY (1936-2017)

She was born January 6, 1936, in Adair County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Johnston & Belle Collins Hunter. She died Monday, February 27, 2017, in Columbia, Adair County, KY, at the age of 81 years, one month, and 21 days.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Earl Cundiff; one daughter, Anita Cundiff; and one brother, James "Tink" Hunter.

She was a member of Egypt Christian Church and a sales clerk at Russell & Company for many years.

Survivors include:
  • Two sons: Bruce (Suzanne) & Paul (Sonia) Cundiff both of Columbia, KY

  • One brother: David Lee (Carol Sue) Hunter of Gallatin, TN

  • Sister-in-law: Marilyn Hunter of Columbia, KY

  • Five Grandchildren - Derek, Blake, Hunter & Brady Cundiff & Erin McClister

  • Five great-grandchildren

  • Special friend: Katherine Parrish

  • Several other relatives & friends
