Freda Stayton of the Christie Chapel community, died at 12:15amET, Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Elizabethtown, KY.

The funeral service for Freda Stayton will be at 11amCT/12amNoonET, Saturday, March 4, 2017 Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Pastor Evan Tedder. Burial will be in Harden Cemetery. Visitation will be 9am-11amCT/10am-12pmNoonET, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home. VISITATION: 10:00 A.M. - 12:00 Noon, Saturday, March 4, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home



Freda Stayton, Christie Chapel Community (1940-2017)

Freda Stayton of the Christie Chapel community was the daughter of the late Robert Welby Stayton & Lear Ruth Christie Stayton. She was born August 22, 1940, in Taylor County, KY. She died Sunday, February 26, 2017 in Elizabethtown, Hardin County, KY, at the age of 76 years, six months, and four days.

She attended Christie Chapel United Methodist Church.

Freda loved coloring, teddy bears and was very happy all the time. She also loved everyone and seeing the "preacher man" as she called her pastor.

She is survived by:
  • Three brothers and one sister: William R. Stayton and wife, Gladys of Campbellsville, KY; Jewel Dean Flinchum of Elk Horn, KY; Leadis R. Stayton and wife, Suzie of Johnsburg, IL; and Lanious R. Stayton of Covington, KY

  • And several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by one brother and two sisters: Welby Richard Stayton in infancy, Leora Devine and Beatrice Burton.
