Mona Gail Auberry, 57, Taylor County, KY (1959-2017)

She was a native of Russell County, KY, and a resident of Taylor County, Ky, at the time of her death. She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Separate Baptist Church. Mona was a former machine operator at Campbellsville Apparel Company and Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville. She was the daughter of the late Paul Hammond & Ethel Cundiff Hammond. Her husband of 41 years, Jerry Auberry, survives. She leaves three direct living descendants.

Mona Gail Auberry, 57, of Campbellsville, KY, died at 4:21pmET, Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Campbellsville, KY.

Funeral service will be at 12pmCT/1pmET, Monday, February 27, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Bro. Robert Boston, Bro. Don Neat and Bro. Junior Holmes. Entombment will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens Mausoleum, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Sunday, February 26, 2017, at the funeral home.

Mona Gail Auberry, 57, was the daughter of the late Paul Hammond & Ethel Cundiff Hammond. She was born April 2, 1959, in Russell County, KY. She died at Thursday, February 23, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 57 years, 10 months, and 21 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mannsville Separate Baptist Church.

Mona was a former machine operator at Campbellsville Apparel Company and Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville.

She united in marriage to Jerry Auberry December 20, 1975.

Besides her husband, Jerry Auberry of Campbellsville, she is survived by:
  • One daughter and son-in-law: Pam and Robert Rutherford of Eubank, KY

  • Two grandsons: Lane Taylor Irwin and Robert Lance Rutherford of Eubank, KY

  • Four brothers and four sisters: Linda Myers and husband, Timmy and Sue Strakel of Campbellsville, KY; Betty Collins and husband, Doug of Russell County, KY: Joan Conner, Carl Hammond and wife, Sandy, Erastus Hammond, Danny Hammond and wife, Gina of Indianapolis, IN; and Everett Hammond and wife, Joyce of Marion County, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was preceded in death by two brothers and one sister: Johnny Hammond, Doug Hammond and Helen Whittle.
