Mr. Raymond Lewis Jones, 60, of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Thompson-Hood Veteran Center in Wilmore, KY. He was 60 years, six months and four days of age.

The funeral services for Mr. Raymond Lewis Jones will be conducted at 10amCT, Friday, February 17, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial to follow with military honors in the Davenport Cemetery. Bro. Michael Davis will officiate. Visitation is requested from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, Thursday, February 16, 2017 at the Cowherd and Parrott Funeral Home and after 7amCT, Friday until time of the funeral service.

Mr. Raymond Lewis Jones of Greensburg, KY, son of the late Ray Jones and Norma Jean Hatfield Jones, was born on August 11, 1956 in Green County, KY and departed this life on Wednesday, February 15, 2017 at the Thompson-Hood Veteran Center in Wilmore, Jessamine County, KY KY. He was 60 years, six months and four days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ and was a member of the New Salem Baptist Church. He was also a veteran having served in the United States Army.

He is survived by:
  • A daughter and son-in-law: Bridget Nicole Jones Doss and Charles Doss of Tennessee

  • Two grandsons: Raymond Doss and Caleb Doss both of Tennessee

  • A sister: Ann Beauchamp of Greensburg, KY

  • And a host of other relatives and friends
