Catherine Marie Rose, 82, of Campbellsville, KY died at 11:07amET, Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Frankfort, KY.

The funeral service will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Thursday, February 9, 2017, at the Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Dana Lockhart. Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens. Visitation will be After 12pmCT/1pmET, Thursday, February 9, 2017 at Campbellsville Memorial Gardens in Campbellsville, KY.

Catherine Marie Rose, of Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, was the daughter of the late Lindsey Rose and Hallie Marie Cox Rose Chaney. She was born June 16, 1934, in Taylor County, KY. She died Sunday, February 5, 2017 in Frankfort, Franklin County, KY, at the age of 82 years, seven months, and 20 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of South Campbellsville Baptist Church.

She is survived by:
  • One son and two daughters: Bill Robinson and Susan Burress and husband, Jimmy of Campbellsville, KY; and Bonnie Collins and husband, Jeff of Dalton, GA

  • Five grandchildren: Sharalyn Whitley of Campbellsville, KY; Darian Barrett of Dalton, GA; Rebecca Lockhart and husband, Dana of Lexington, KY; Melissa Hunter and husband, Jesse of Taylorsville, KY; and Scott Burress of Louisville, KY

  • Four great-grandchildren: Beatrice Lockhart, Micah Hunter, Asher Hunter and Nate Hunter

  • One brother: Tom Rose and wife, Virginia of Campbellsville, KY

  • One sister-in-law: Ruby Rose of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends
She was also preceded in death by two brothers: Jimmy Rose and Bobby Lee Rose.
