Virginia Carol Thompson Polley age 74 of Glasgow, KY, died Sunday January 22, 2017 at her home.

Graveside service will be 2pmCT, Monday, January 23, 2017, at the Seven Springs Cemetery.



Virginia Carol Thompson Polley, 74, Glasgow, KY (1942-2017)


She was born June 15, 1942. She was the daughter of the late Alvis and Della Hiser Thompson. She died January 22, 2017, at the age of 74 years, seven months, and seven days.

She was a homemaker and member of the Seven Springs Cumberland Presbyterian Church.

She is survived by her husband Larry Polley of Glasgow, KY, and the following:
  • Two brothers: Howard Thompson of Louisville, KY; and Fay (Susan) Thompson of Glasgow, KY

  • Step son: Shawn (Barbara) Polley of Bowling Green, KY

  • Nieces and nephews

  • Her chosen sisters: Doris Love (Joe) Hunt, and Nancy Fancher (Johnny) Heath
Besides her parents she was preceded in death by one sister Mary Lee Wilson and two daughters Tammy and Tyla. Contributions can be made to the T.J. Samson Hospice.
