Austin Wayne Buckner, Taylor Co., KY (1939-2017) Austin Wayne Buckner was the son of the late Ray Buckner and Nettie Morrison Buckner. He was born December 11, 1939, in Green County, KY. He died Saturday, January 14, 2017 in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 77 years, one month, and three days. He professed faith in Christ at a young age and was a member of Campbellsville Baptist Church. He retired from General Telephone and Electrics, and was also employed at Fruit of the Loom for several years. Wayne served his community for several years during his time with both the Fire Department and the Rescue Squad. He spent countless hours hunting and fishing with both friends and family.
