William Adam (Jack) Wooldridge, 87, Russell Co. KY (1929-2016)

His wife of 66 years, Maude Skaggs Wooldridge, survives. He was a retired backhoe operator, and made, installed and pumped septic tanks. He also was a retired farmer. He attended the Penticostal Holiness Church of Jamestown for 10 years without missing a service. He leaves 29 direct living descendants.

William Adam "Jack" Wooldridge, 87, of Jamestown, KY, died Friday, January 6, 2017 his home.

Funeral service for William Adam "Jack" Wooldridge will be 10amCT, Tuesday, January 10, 2017 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY, with Bro. Lindsey Cornett officiating. Visitation is 5pm-8pmCT, Monday, January 9, 2017, and after 8amCT, Tuesday. Interment will be in the Miller Cemetery. Special Music will be rendered by Larry & Marcia Skaggs, and Lianna McQueary. Pallbearers: Brian Pierce, Steve Boils, Chris Boils, Ottis Skaggs Joel Skaggs, and Nathan Skaggs.



William Adam (Jack) Wooldridge, 87, Russell Co. KY (1929-2016)


He was born August 4, 1929 in Russell County, KY. He was the son of the late Silas & Julie Ford Wooldridge. He died Friday, January 6, 2017, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, at the age of 87 years, five months, and two days.

He was a retired backhole operator, and made, installed and pumped septic tanks. He also was a retired farmer. He attended the Penticostal Holiness Church of Jamestown for 10 years without missing a service.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by four brothers; Johnny, Londo, Tom, & Joe Wooldridge; and one sister, Rene Rush.

Survivors include his wife of 66 years, Maude Skaggs Wooldridge, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Joyce Faye (Mitchell) Pierce, Jamestown, KY; and Carolyn Kay(Frank) Boils, Campbellsville, KY

  • Five grandchildren

  • Sixteen great grandchildren

  • Six great great grandchildren

  • And several nieces and nephews
