Mr. Van Roy Watkins, age 72 of Campbellsville, KY, died Monday, January 2, 2016, at his residence after a sudden illness.

A memorial service for Mr. Van Roy Watkins will be held at 2pmCT/3pmET, Friday, January 6, 2017, at the Lyon-Dewitt-Berry Funeral Home Chapel, 503 E Main Street, Campbellsville, KY, with Bro. Jim Collison officiating. The family chose cremation. The family will receive visitors from 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Friday until time of the funeral at at the Lyon-DeWitt-Berry Funeral Home.



He is survived by:
  • His daughter: Melissa Watkins, of Bowling Green, KY

  • One step-daughter and her husband: Janet and Terry Roberts of Campbellsville, KY

  • Six grandchildren

  • Six great-grandchildren

  • Three step-grandchildren

  • Three step-great-grandchildren

  • Five sisters: Barbara Miller and Betty Riggs both of Upton, KY; Judy Massey of Carmel, IN; and Shirley and Janet Watkins, Bowling Green, KY

  • Three brothers: Glen, Daryl and Phillip Watkins all of Bowling Green, KY
