Julia Richerson of Shepherdsville, formerly of Campbellsville, died at 11:50pmET, Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Louisville, at the age of 71. Visitation will be from 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET on Sunday, January 1, 2017.

The funeral service will be held at 1pmET on Monday, January 2nd, 2017 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Ave., Campbellsville, KY, with Rev. J.T. Rafferty officiating.

Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old U.S. 68, Campbellsville, KY.

Julia Richerson was the daughter of the late Edgar Cave and Marjorie Long Cave, was born May 4, 1945, in Gloucester, England. She passed away on Tuesday, December 27, 2016 in Louisville, KY. She was 71 years old.

She professed faith in Christ. Julia was a retired over the road truck driver for FedEx.

Julia was preceded in death by a sister, Jacqueline Joelle Cave in infancy.

She is survived by:
  • One son and daughter-in-law, Ricky and Carolyn Richerson of Shepherdsville, KY

  • One grandson: Jordan Richerson of Shepherdsville, KY

  • Two step-grandchildren: Josh Bishop and wife, Sarah of Mt. Washington, KY; and Brandon Bishop and fiancee, Jen of Louisville, KY

  • Three step-great-grandchildren

  • One brother and one sister: Jimmy Cave and wife, Diane and Sandra Rainwater of Campbellsville, KY

  • Her companion: Larry Richerson of Shepherdsville; several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
The family request that expressions of sympathy be made in the form of donations to St. Jude Children's Hospital. They may be made at Parrot & Ramsey Funeral Home.
