Funeral Services will be conducted on Thursday, December 22, 2016 at 2pmCT, in The Memory Chapel of Norris-New Funeral Home, 601 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY, with Bro. Gary Cash officiating. Burial will be in the Perkins Cemetery in Cumberland County, KY. The family will receive friends after 1pmCT, Wednesday, December 21, 2016 until the funeral hour on Thursday. Mr. Paul Jackson Sharp, Sr., Burkesville, KY (1939-2016) He was born in Cumberland County, KY on Sunday, September 17, 1939, the son of A. O. and Lula Jones Sharp. He died Monday, December 19, 2016, in Burkesville, Cumberland County, KY, at the age of 77 years, 3 months, and 3 days. He attended the Church of Christ, was a mechanic, business owner, member of the NHRA, and a drag racing legend. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Arnold Sharp, Randolph Sharp; and sisters, Alma Short, Nina Skipworth, Mae Williams, Sybil Key, Ruth H. Walker, and Amy Spears. He is survived by his wife, Evelyn R. Sharp, Burkesville, KY and the following:
