Services will be held in Summer Shade, KY at McMurtrey Funeral Home, 2232 Summer Shade Road, Summer Shade, KY on Friday December 16, 2016; viewing starts at 10amCT, service to be held at 1pmCT. A family only graveside service will follow. He is survived by the following:
He was a veteran of World War II, Japanese occupation force. He was a graduate Summer Shade High School; class of 46', and later graduate of Berean Baptist College. He was an author of religious tracts and multiple religious inspired manuscripts. For many years he volunteered and was a leader in local fellowship functions. He spent many years working in the Indianapolis area as a Master Machinist. His life was inspired by his interests that led him to be an avid outdoorsman, hunter, adventurer and committed father and husband. All who knew him, knew of his most impassioned interest of the West and Southwest regions of the country, where throughout the years, he enjoyed many trips and adventures with many family and friends.
