COLUMBIA, KY - The Lindsey Wilson men's basketball team meets Kentucky State University at 1pmCT/2pmET, today, Saturday, December 10, 2016, at the Exum Center, 400 East Main Street, Frankfort, KY.

The Blue Raiders (7-5) saw their losing streak extend to five games with a 64-58 road defeat against Campbellsville (KY) last Saturday. Lindsey Wilson held a 30-27 halftime advantage over the Tigers but shot only 26.5 percent from the floor in the second half.

Campbellsville's perimeter-oriented attack heated up following the intermission - shooting 5-of-10 from deep in the second half after making only four three-pointers on 14 attempts in the first 20 minutes.

Hagen Tyler accounted for over 40 percent of the Tigers' total offense on Saturday, exploding for 26 points on 7-of-11 shooting, including a 5-of-8 mark from behind the three-point line. No other Campbellsville player scored more than eight points.

Charles Sutton led the Blue Raiders in scoring with 17 points and assisted on a team-high four baskets. Nic Brown came one rebound shy of a double-double - posting 13 points and nine boards.

Lindsey Wilson committed 16 turnovers on Saturday to the Tigers' 14. Through 12 games this season, the Blue Raiders have committed more turnovers than their opponent in eight games.

Turnovers factored heavily into the last meeting between Lindsey Wilson and Kentucky State (2-5) - an 80-78 Blue Raider victory on Nov. 8. In that game, Lindsey Wilson led by 28 points with 11:35 remaining in the second half, but the Thorobreds pulled back into the game on the strength of their full-court pressure - coming within a half-court heave at the buzzer of completing the comeback bid.

That night, the Blue Raiders committed 17 turnovers which led to 19 Kentucky State points.

The Thorobreds' last game came on Tuesday - an 84-63 exhibition loss on the road to Cumberlands (KY).

Dorian Jordan led Kentucky State with 21 points. Julius Barton scored 16 points and has scored in double-digits in his last five games.

Cumberlands severely outrebounded the Thorobreds, 42-25. On the season, Kentucky State is averaging only 34.4 rebounds per game while its opponents grab 40.9 boards per contest.

Lindsey Wilson averages 39.2 rebounds per game and is 4-2 this season when outrebounding its opponent.
