LWC Women's Basketball at Campbellsville Sat 3 Nov 2016 From Lindsey Wilson College Lindsey Wilson Women's Basketball Team faces Campbellsville at 1pmCT, Saturday, December 3, 2016, at Powell Athletic Center, 203 Tiger Way, Campbellsville, KY. Behind the efforts of Roberts and Kayla Styles, the Blue Raiders score nearly two-thirds of their points from inside the three-point arc. Styles has been a force in the post this season, averaging 16.7 points and grabbing 13.1 rebounds per contest The Blue Raider women (8-0, 1-0) are coming off a 101-62 drubbing of Life (Ga.) in their MSC opener last Saturday. Lindsey Wilson shot 53.7 percent from the floor in that game behind Chanel Roberts, who did not miss a shot all game. The senior forward made all eight attempts from the floor and went 3-for-3 at the line. In stark contrast, No. 4-ranked Campbellsville (7-1, 1-0 MSC) lives and dies behind the three-point arc, averaging eight makes per game on 37.6 percent shooting. Tiger Senior Emily Fox leads Division I with 3.5 three-point field goals per game and shoots 43.8 percent from behind the arc. Teammate Madison Clements leads her team in scoring with 16.8 points per game and is shooting 49 percent from the floor and 42.5 percent from deep. Lindsey Wilson is 18-50 all-time against the Tigers. Last season, the Blue Raiders went 1-2 against their rival including a 60-56 loss in the MSC Tournament Semifinals.
