Terry Cecil Hunt, 68, Taylor County, KY (1948-2016)

He was a native of Taylor County, KY and a resident of the county at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Hulette Hunt & Diona Hunt. His wife of 48 years, Paula Colvin Hunt, survives. He leaves five direct living descendants. He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church. He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, Amazon and Fleetwood Travel Trailers. Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman.

Terry Cecil Hunt of Campbellsville, son of the late Hulette Hunt and Dionas Hunt, was born July 15, 1948, in Taylor County, Kentucky. He died at 4:40 P.M., Monday, November 21, 2016 in Campbellsville. Age: 68

The funeral services will be at 1pmCT/2pmET, Saturday, November 26, 2016, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. J. T. Rafferty and Rev. Steve Warner. Burial will be in Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church Cemetery. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Friday, November 25, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.

He was born July 15, 2016, in Taylor County, KY. He was the son of the late Hulette Hunt & Diona Hunt. He died Monday, November 21, 2016, in Campbellsville, Taylor County, KY, at the age of 68 years, four months, and six days.

He professed faith in Christ and was a member of Mt. Gilboa Baptist Church.

He was a former employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville, Amazon and Fleetwood Travel Trailers.

Terry was an avid hunter and fisherman.

He united in marriage to Paula Colvin January 19, 1968.

Besides his wife, Paula Colvin Hunt of Campbellsville, he is survived by

  • One son and two daughters: Travis Hunt of Campbellsville, KY; Sheila Taylor and husband, Billy Darin Taylor and Angela Butler of Columbia, KY

  • Two grandchildren: Joshua Darin Taylor and Kyle Lynn Butler of Columbia, KY

  • One brother and three sisters: Buel Hunt and wife, Betty of Augusta, GA; Darlene Gilpin and husband, Cecil; and Phyllis Phillips and husband, George McGee, of Campbellsville, KY; and Beverly Duggin of Louisville, KY

  • Mother-in-law, Mary Aileen Colvin of Campbellsville, KY

  • Brother-in-law: David Sonny Colvin of Shepherdsville, KY

  • Three sisters-in-law: Joyce Colvin, LaQuita Hunt and Doris Hunt, all of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends
He was also preceded in death by three brothers and one sister: Coleman Hunt May 6, 2015, Carl Hunt November 29, 2002, Shelby Hunt December 22, 2009 and Sylvia Parrott September 27, 2016.
