David Leon Coffey, 70, of Columbia, KY passed away on Thursday, November 17, 2016, at the Rockcastle County Hospital in Mt. Vernon, KY.

Funeral Services for David Leon Coffey will be Sunday. November 20, 2016, at 2pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel, 202 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY with Bro. Stanley Watson officiating. Friends may visit on Sunday after 9amCT at the funeral home. Burial in the Dixon Cemetery in Jamestown, KY.



David Leon Coffey, 70, Adair County, KY (1946-2016)


He was born June 30, 1946, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY a son of the late Thelma (Brown) and Hollis Coffey. He died Thursday, November 17, 2016, in Mt. Vernon, Rockcastle County, KY at the age of 70 years, four months, and 17 days.

David is survived by:
  • Brother: Haven (Wilma) Coffey, of Russell Springs, KY

  • Two sisters: Ada (Jim) England, of Columbus, IN; and Ruth (Gary) Lane, of Brodhead, KY

  • And a host of nieces and nephews
He is preceded in death by his parents, and a son, Shane David Coffey.
