Dale W. Mullins, 92, Russell Co., KY (1924-2016)

He was a in the U.S. Army, and retired director of Maintenance at GE. He was a member of the Freedom Christian Church. He was a native of Letcher County, KY, and a resident of Russell County, KY, at the time of his death. He was the son of the late Arminta (Fairchild) and William Watson Mullins. His wife, Margaret Rose Clay Mullins, survives. He leaves 33 direct living descendants. His final resting place will be in Mill Springs National Cemetery. He will be accorded full military honors at committal rites rendered by the Russell County Honor Guard.

Dale W. Mullins, 92, of Jamestown, KY, passed away on Wednesday, November 16, 2016, at his home.

Funeral Services for Dale W. Mullins will be Monday, November 21, 2016, 10:30amCT at Freedom Christian Church, in Jamestown, KY with Bro. Wendell Roberts officiating. Friends may visit on Sun. after 5pmCT at the Freedom Christian Church. Burial in the Mill Springs National Cemetery, 9044 West Hwy 80, Nancy, KY with full Military Honors by the Russell County Honor Guard.



Dale W. Mullins, 92, Russell Co., KY (1924-2016)

Dale was born February 22,1924, in Whitesburg, Letcher County, KY. He was a son of the late Arminta (Fairchild) and William Watson Mullins. He died Wednesday, November 16, 2016, in Jamestown, Russell County, KY, a the age of 92 years, eight months, and 25 days.

He was a in the U.S. Army, and retired director of Maintenance at G.E.

Dale was a member of the Freedom Christian Church.

He is survived by:
  • His wife: Margaret Rose (Clay) Mullins, of Jamestown, KY

  • Two sons Ron (Isabella) Mullins, of Las Vegas, NV; and Mark (Diana) Mullins, of Manassas, VA

  • A daughter: Karen (Dale) Lovell, of Greenville, KY

  • Sister-in-law: Laura Mullins, of Bowling Green, KY

  • Ten grandchildren

  • Seventeen great grandchildren

  • Three great great grandchildren also survive.
He is preceded in death by his parents, two brothers Chad and Kenton Mullins, two sisters Sybil Brown, and Charlene Stone.
