Mr. Estel Ray Dile, 67, departed this life Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home in Green County, KY.

A graveside service for Mr. Estel Ray Dile will be 1pmCT, Tuesday, October 25, 2016, at the Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Lloyd Dial officiating. Pallbearers: Josh Dial, Cody Salmon, Brad Posey, Don Salmon, Andrew Patterson, and Jim Miller. Honorary Pallbearers: Grandchildren: Lacey Marie Callahan, Amber Nicole Callahan, Brayden Chandler Dile, Clara Grace Coulter and Austin Curtis Banks.

Mr. Estel Ray Dile was born September 12, 1949 in Metcalfe County, KY to the late Estel and Pauline Bunch Dile. He departed this life Monday, October 24, 2016 at his home in Green County, having attained the age of 67 years, one month and 12 days.

Ray had made a profession of faith in Christ and was of the Pentecostal faith. He was a retired truck driver.

Besides his parents, he is preceded in death by one brother and one sister: Donnie Dile and Linda Gail Ervin.

He is survived by the following:
  • His wife: Mildred Dile, Greensburg, KY

  • One son: Christopher Ray Dile and his companion, Allie Cornett, Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters: Christina Rhea Dile and her companion, Bobby Wright and Amy Nicole Dile, all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two brothers: Jerry Dile and his wife Kay of Summersville, KY; and Gary Russell Dile and his wife Laura, of Greensburg, KY

  • Two sisters: Diana Smith and her husband Bill of Greensburg, KY; and Alma Jean Lile and her husband Leonard of Center, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Lacey Marie Callahan, Amber Nicole Callahan, Brayden Chandler Dile, Clara Grace Coulter and Austin Curtis Banks

  • His in-laws: James Glen Posey, Don and Michelle Salmon, Carolyn and Dennis Young, Wayne and Wendy Dial, Steve and Janie Dial

  • Special friends: Bobby Bingham, Kim Penick and Linda Dobson.
The family would like to extend a "Special Thank You" to Lifeline and Hosparus.
