Robert Pierce, 86, Casey County, KY (1930-2016)

Mr. Pierce worked for 32 years as a foundry worker for Buckeye Products in Carthage, Ohio before retiring in 1992. He attended the Mt. Pleasant Church. He leaves six direct living descendants.

Robert Pierce passed away Saturday, October 22, 2016 at his home in Dunnville, KY. He was 86 years old.

Funeral services are 1pmCT/2pmET, Monday, October 24, 2016 at McKinney-Brown Funeral Home, 752 Campbellsville Street, Liberty, KY, with Bro. Kenny Blevins officiating. Burial will follow in Antioch Cemetery. Visitation is Monday from 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, until funeral service.



Robert Pierce, 86, Casey County, KY (1930-2016)

Born June 9, 1930 in Casey County, KY, he was the son of the late Elbert and Maggie Williams Pierce. He died Saturday, October 22, 2016, at his home in Dunnville, KY, at the age of 86 years, four months, and 13 days.

Robert worked 32 years as a foundry worker for Buckeye Products in Carthage, Ohio before retiring in 1992. He attended the Mt. Pleasant Church.

Survivors include:
  • A son, Mark (and Shelly) Pierce of Mt. Sterling, Ohio

  • A daughter: Beth Pierce of West Chester, Ohio

  • Four grandchildren, Sadie, Sophie, Maggie, and Grayson

  • And a special cousin, Barbara (and Charles) Norfleet of Dunnville, KY
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters, Lela Pendleton and Louise Carman.
