Rev. Robert Lee Lehman, 88, of Campbellsville, KY, left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Campbellsville, KY.

There will be a funeral service to honor the life of Rev. Robert Lee Lehman on Tuesday, September 27, 2016 at 11amCT/12pmNoonET, in the chapel of the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY 42718. Dr. Wesley Paul will be officiating. Interment will follow in the Highland Memory Gardens, 279 Landis Lane, Mount Washington, KY 40047. The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Tuesday, September 27, from 8:30amCT/9:30amET until time for the service.

Rev. Robert Lee Lehman of Campbellsville was born in Michigan on August 12, 1928. He left this world to be with his Lord and Savior on Tuesday, September 20, 2016 at the Campbellsville Nursing and Rehabilitation Center, Campbellsville, KY, having attained the age of 88 years, 1 month, and 8 days.

He was an ordained minister who earned a living as a carpenter, but lived his life as a testimony of his Full Gospel Faith. He was a veteran of the United States Army with five years of honorable service in Germany.

He leaves to mourn his passing:

  • His wife: Rosie Mitchell Lehman of Campbellsville, KY

  • Five children: Jackie Taylor and husband Richard, Gary Lehman and wife Mary, Chris Swift and husband James, all of Florida; Jeanette Huddleston and husband Richard of Texas; and Billy Lehman of Missouri

  • Six step-children: Joyce Kessler and husband Bobby of Campbellsville, KY;Buddy Carpenter of Campbellsville, KY; Danny Lee Carrier and wife Janice of Tennessee; Clarence Carrier and fiance Patricia of Florida; Bonnie Decker and husband Harold of Shepherdsville, KY; and Neaoma Sloan of Shelbyville, KY

  • Five sisters

  • Several grandchildren, great-grandchildren, and great-great grandchildren,

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
