Ida Mae Wilson Wade, 85, Russell Co., KY (1931-2016)

She was a member of a leading Russell County, KY, family and a member of First Baptist Church of Russell Springs, KY. She was store clerk at Kentucky State Parks and former owner & operator of Wade's Dairy Dee. She was the daughter of the late Elvin Ray & Alpha Sullivan Wilson, and the widow of Dallas Wade, Jr. She leaves 14 direct living descendants.

Ida Mae Wade, 85, of Somerset, KY (formerly of Russell Springs), died Friday, September 9, 2016 at the Hospice of Lake Cumberland Jean Waddle Care Center in Somerset.

Funeral service for Ida Mae Wade will be at 12pmNoonCT, Saturday, September 17, 2016 at the Bernard Funeral Home Chapel, 367 N Main Street, Russell Springs, KY with Bro. Curtis Ballenger officiating. Visitation will be after 10amCT, Saturday, September 17, 2016. Interment will be in the Fairview Cemetery.



Ida Mae Wilson Wade, 85, Russell Co., KY (1931-2016)

She was born March 20, 1931 in Jamestown, KY. She was the daughter of the late Elvin Ray & Alpha Sullivan Wilson. She died Friday, September 9, 2016, at the age of 85 years, five months, and 20 days.

She was store clerk at Kentucky State Parks and former owner & operator of Wade's Dairy Dee.

She was a member of First Baptist Church of Russell Springs.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Dallas Wade, Jr. and a brother, Dan Wilson.

Survivors include the following:
  • Two sons: Kerry (Sherry) Wade, Byhalia, MS; and Kim (Toni) Wade, Somerset, KY

  • Five grandchildren: Christian (Deana) Wade, Drumonds, TN; Tiffany (Harrell) Stevens, Raleigh, NC; Tara (Brandon) Mounce, Ft. Knox, KY; and Kelly & Loren Hale

  • Seven great grandchildren

  • One brother: Bruce Wilson, Ohio

  • One sister-in-law: Sue Wilson, Bowling Green, KY
