James Brown, 64, Russell County, (1952-2016)

He was a retired Veteran of the US Army serving in Korea, Germany and Desert Storm and had the rank of E7. His wife, Margaret Yeatts Brown, survives. He leaves 10 direct living survivors.

Besides his parents he was preceded in death by 2 grandchildren. He was born on Thursday August 28, 1952 in Enterprise, Alabama. He was the son of the late Pauline (Swanson) Brown and the late Eugene Brown. He died Wednesday, September 7, 2016, in Somerset, Pulaski County, KY, at the age of 64 years, 11 days.

He is survived by:
  • Wife: Margaret Yeatts Brown, Russell Springs, Kentucky

  • Three daughters: Katina Yoder, Florida; Christina Brizendine, Oklahoma; and Jamie York, Russell Springs, Kentucky

  • Three sisters: Judy Bressler, Indiana; Jolene Pitman, Illinois; and Joy McKelvie, Illinois

  • Two brothers: Jason Brown, Illinois; Jeff Brown, Illinois

  • Six grandchildren: Kelsey Brizendine, William Brown, Jordan Yoder, Devon Yoder, Garrett Brizendine and Gabrielle York.

  • One great-grandchild: Liam Brown
