Verniece Lee Taylor, Taylor County, KY (1940-2016)

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church. She spent several years as a member of the United Methodist Women's Circle. She loved to fish and was passionate about her family. She was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for 29 years. She was the daughter of the late "Vernie" Graham and Elsie Noel Graham. Her husband, Marshall Taylor, survives. She leaves 39 direct and two step living descendants.

Verniece Lee Taylor of Campbellsville, Ky, died at 9:45pmET, Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Louisville. Age: 76

Funeral service will be 10amCT/11amET, Saturday, August 27, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville, KY, by Rev. Daniel Cook, Dr. Brian Rafferty and Rev. Haywood Riner. Burial will be Brookside Cemetery, W Main Street, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 4pm-7pmCT/5pm-8pmET, Friday.

Verniece Lee Taylor of Campbellsville, daughter of the late "Vernie" Graham and Elsie Noel Graham, was born February 3, 1940, in Taylor County, Kentucky. She died Wednesday, August 24, 2016 in Louisville, Jefferson County, KY at the age of 76 years, six months, and 21 days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Elk Horn Baptist Church.

She spent several years as a member of the United Methodist Women's Circle,

She loved to fish and was passionate about her family.

She was an employee of Fruit of the Loom in Campbellsville for 29 years.

She united in marriage to "Susie" Lee in 1959 and he preceded her in death in 1982.

She was preceded in death by a son, "Smitty" Lee, April 3, 1990.

She united in marriage to Marshall Taylor, May 6, 1984.

Besides her husband, Marshall Taylor of Campbellsville, KY, she is survived by the following:
  • Two daughters: Susan Seaborne and husband, Donnie and Gayle Dowell and husband, Jimmy of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two step-sons: Jaysen Taylor and wife, Shannon of Campbellsville, KY; and Marion Taylor and wife, Janice of Greensburg, KY

  • A daughter-in-law: Tracy Perkins of Campbellsville, KY

  • Nineteen grandchildren

  • Eighteen great-grandchildren

  • One sister: Corrine Reliford Sublett and husband, Leonard of Campbellsville, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • And many other relatives and friends.
She was also preceded in death by four brothers and two sisters: Grover Graham, Charles Vern Graham, George Thurman Graham, Ray Graham, Edna Graham and Ruby Turner.
