Mr. Ronnie Dale Milby, Green County, KY (1949-2016)

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army. He retired from the United States Army National Guard. He was a member and past Master of the William B. Allen Lodge #704, life member of the Marion County V.F.W., and member of the Disabled American Veterans in Columbia. Mr. Milby was also present and past Commander of the American Legion Post #82 in Campbellsville, and also District Commander.

Mr. Ronnie Dale Milby, age 67, of Campbellsville, KY passed away on Friday at the Taylor Regional Hospital in Campbellsville.

The funeral arrangements for Mr. Ronnie Dale Milby will be conducted at 10amCT, Monday, August 15, 2016, at the Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home, 206 S Main Street, Greensburg, KY, with burial in the Aetna Grove Cemetery with full Military Honors by the Marion County Honor Gaurd. Visitation will be from 4pmCT until 8pmCT, on Sunday, August 14,2016, and after 7amCT Monday until time of the service at Cowherd & Parrott Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Phil Davis, Chad Gaither, Joe Fair, Greg Parrott, Bill Scott, and Larry Marcum.



Mr. Ronnie Dale Milby, 67 Taylor Co., KY/Green native (1949-2016)


Mr. Ronnie Dale Milby of Campbellsville, KY, son of the late Marvin Milby and Gertie Vaughn Milby, was born on July 22, 1949 in Green County, KY, and departed this life on Friday, August 12, 2016 at the Taylor Regional Hospital. He was 67 years, and 21 days of age.

He had made a profession of faith in Christ. He was a Vietnam Veteran having served in the United States Army. He retired from the United States Army National Guard. He was a member and past Master of the William B. Allen Lodge #704, life member of the Marion County V.F.W., and member of the Disabled American Veterans in Columbia. Mr. Milby was also present and past Commander of the American Legion Post #82 in Campbellsville, and also District Commander.

He is survived by his wife of 32 years, Vicki L. Milby of Campbellsville, KY, having united in marriage on July 28, 1984.

Other survivors include:
  • Two sons and a daughter-in-law: Michael Milby, and Chris "Peanut" Wilson and Jennifer Wilson all of Greensburg, KY

  • Two daughters and a son-in-law: Terri and Chad Gaither, Tina Bradshaw and her fiance', Jamie Russell all of Campbellsville, KY

  • A sister and brother-in-law: Carolyn and Dexter Trowbridge of Mt. Washington, KY

  • Eight grandchildren: Matthew Blake Milby, Sierra Graybeal, Devin Graybeal, Isaiah Bradshaw, Christopher Wilson, Kalia Wilson, Steven Wilson, and Lucus Davenport

  • And a host of other relatives and friends.
Donations are requested to the Wounded Warrior Project and can be made at the funeral home.
