Charlotte Joan Turner, 68, of Russell Springs, KY passed away, Monday July 25, 2016 at her residence.

The family chose cremation and a memorial service will be announced at a later date. Interment will be in the Lane Cemetery, Highway 1048, Greensburg, KY.

Charlotte Joan Turner, was born on Saturday July 24, 1948 in Center, Metcalfe County, KY. She was the daughter of the late Trixie McCandless Lane and the late Glen Lane. She died Monday, July 25, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 68 years, 2 days.

She was a member of New Victory Baptist Church She was also preceded in death by two brothers, Ronald and Mark.

She is survived by her husband, Jimmy Turner, Russell Springs, KY, and the following:
  • Two daughters: Tarina Turner, Russell Springs, KY; and Glena Turner, Somerset, KY

  • Two brothers: Teddy, husband of Carolyn Lane, Glasgow, KY; and Gary, husband of Doris McKinney Lane, Danville, KY.

  • Two grandchildren: Damian and Avery
