Tammy Franklin, 46, of the Flatwoods Community of Adair County, KY passed away suddenly Sunday, July 17, 2016 at 7:32pmCT, at the T J Samson Hospital Emergency Room in Glasgow, KY.

Funeral services will be Thursday, July 21, 2016 at 1pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY, with Bro. Ronnie Janes officiating. Interment will be in the Haven Hill Cemetery, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY. The family request visiting after 4pmCT, on Wednesday, July 20, 2016, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home. Pallbearers: Mark Dykes, Marty Dykes, Wayne Flowers, Bobby Jessie, Billy Jessie, and Adam Burton. Honorary pallbearers: Carson Hadley, Micah Janes, Bill Keltner, Ronald Spillman, and Bobby Carter.


She was preceded in death by her mother, Linda Petty Turner in February 2016. She is survived by:
  • Her father: Jerry Turner of Columbia, KY.

  • Her husband: Larry Franklin of Columbia, KY

  • One son: Jonathan Franklin and wife Robin of Columbia, KY

  • One sister: Teresa Turner Cox of Columbia, KY

  • One grandchild: Brynlee Franklin

  • One nephew: Justin Cox of Columbia, KY

  • One lifelong friend: Tammy Kelsay of Columbia, KY.
