Cornelius Harvey age 86 years of Oak Lawn, IL, formerly of Adair County, KY, passed away Tuesday morning, July 5, 2016 at his home.

Funeral Services will be Tuesday, July 12, 2016 at 11amCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home, 210 Greensburg Street, Columbia, KY Bro. Steve Martin the officiating clergy. Internment will be in Haven Hill Cemetery, 1276 Liberty Road, Columbia, KY. Visitation will be Monday, July 11, 2016 4pm-8pmCT, at Stotts-Phelps-McQueary Funeral Home.



Cornelius Harvey, 86, Adair County, KY (1930-2016)


He was the son of the late Willie Russell and Mary Helen Stotts Harvey. He was born June 13, 1930. He died Tuesday, July 5, 2016, at the age of 86 years and 22 days.

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his wife, Nelda Grace Davidson Harvey, on October 13, 2007.

He is survived by the following:
  • Two sons; Russell Harvey and his wife Bebe of Illinois; and Dwayne Harvey and his wife Jennifer of Kentucky.

  • One daughter; Debra Kwaak of Illinois.

  • Caring brother-in-law: Kenneth Davidson and his wife Faye of Columbia, KY

  • Nine grandchildren

  • Three great-grandchildren

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • and a host of other families and friends
He was a fork lift operator.
