CHS band members march in July Fourth parade Marching season started with Parade. CHS Band next major public performance will be at the Mark Twain Marching Band Festival, with performances to start at 3:45pmCT/4:45pmET, Saturday, August 27, 2015, at Indian Stadium, 626 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY. Click on headline for complete story By Calen McKinney Campbellsville High School band members participated in the annual Campbellsville/Taylor County Fourth of July Celebration parade down Main Street. Band members marched and played for the crowd. The parade officially kicks off this year's marching season. This year's band camp will be July 11-15 and July 18-22. Camp will be from 9amET to 5pmET on Monday, Wednesday and Friday and from 9amET to noon and 5pmET to 9pmET on Tuesdays and Thursdays. Band members will have rehearsal on Tuesday, July 26, and Thursday, July 28, from 5pmET to 9pmET This school year's practice schedule will begin on Thursday, August 4, 2016, with rehearsal from 3pmET to 6pmET Regular rehearsals will be on Tuesdays from 3pmET to 6pmET, Thursdays from 5:30pmET to 8:30pmET and from 1pmET to 3pmET and 3pmET to 5pmET on Fridays for sectionals and rehearsals, respectively. The first performance of the season will be on Saturday, August 27, 2015 at the Mark Twain preview show in Adair County, at Indian Stadium, 626 Indian Drive, Columbia, KY.
