Lowell D. Lynn, Sr., 70, Casey Co., KY (1945-2016)

He was a native of Casey County, KY. He attended Wood High School in Indianapolis and received a degree in Pastoral Ministry from Union Bible College & Academy in Westfield. Lowell was also a preacher for over 20 years. Lowell was retired as the owner and operator of L.D. Lynn Electrical & Mechanical Services in Plainfield. Prior to that, he worked as a supervisor for Max Katz Bag Company in Indianapolis. Lowell attended the Gateway Chapel Bible Holiness Church in Martinsville, was member of the NRA and a proud Delegate for the Republican Party. He enjoyed reading his Bible, walking in the woods and was a collector of flashlights. Lowell enjoyed traveling and helping others. He worked many Missionary Trips and enjoyed spending time with his family, especially his grandchildren. His wife of 53 years, Gay Francis Murray Lynn, survives. He leaves 44 direct living descendants. Burial will be in his native Casey Co., KY.

Lowell D. Lynn Sr., age 70, went home to be with his Lord and Savior on Saturday, June 25, 2016. He was a resident of Martinsville, IN.

The Rev. Marcus Dodrill will conduct a funeral service on Thursday, June 30, 2016, at 10amCT/11amET, at the Gateway Chapel Bible Holiness Church, 469 N. Marion Street, in Martinsville, IN. Friends may call on Wednesday from 3pm-7pmCT/4pm-8pmET, at Meredith-Clark Funeral Home Cremation & Personalization Center, 179 E. Mulberry St. in Morgantown, IN. A graveside service will be held on Friday, July 2, 2016, at 10amCT/11amET, at the Wilson Cemetery in Liberty, Kentucky.

Lowell was born on November 13, 1945 in Casey Co., Kentucky. He was the son of the late Ira and Ola (Murphy) Lynn. He died Saturday, June 25, 2016, in Indiana, at the age of 70 years, seven months, and 12 days.

He attended Wood High School in Indianapolis and received a degree in Pastoral Ministry from Union Bible College & Academy in Westfield. Lowell was also a preacher for over 20 years.

Lowell was retired as the owner and operator of L.D. Lynn Electrical & Mechanical Services in Plainfield. Prior to that, he worked as a supervisor for Max Katz Bag Company in Indianapolis.
