Gerline Finn, 85, Taylor Co./Metcalfe Co native, KY (1930-2016)

Her career as a beautician spans one-half century. She was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle and of a highly regarded South Central Kentucky family. She was the daughter of the late Jimmy Murrell & Voyce Pyles Murrell. Her husband, Murey Finn, survives. She leaves six direct living descendants, spanning three generations.

Gerline Finn, 85, of Campbellsville, KY,died at 1:22amCT, Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Greensburg, Kentucky.

The funeral services will be at 12pmNoonCT/1pmET, Thursday, June 30, 2016 at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home, 418 Lebanon Avenue, Campbellsville by Pastor Bob Cutler Burial will be in Campbellsville Memorial Gardens, 700 Old US 68, Campbellsville, KY. Visitation will be 9am-12pmNoonCT/10am-1pmET, Thursday, June 30, 2016, at Parrott & Ramsey Funeral Home.



Pallbearers: Gary Blaydes Eddie Finn, Jordan Finn, Larry Finn, Lynn Finn, and Tanner Finn.

Gerline Finn of Campbellsville, KY, was the daughter of the late Jimmy Murrell and Voyce Pyles Murrell. She was born December 20, 1930 in Metcalfe County, Kentucky. She died Sunday, June 26, 2016 in Greensburg, Green County, Kentucky. at the age of 85 years, six months, and six days.

She professed faith in Christ and was a member of Bible Baptist Tabernacle. She was a beautician for 50 years.

She united in marriage to Murey Finn December 20, 1951.

Besides her husband, Murey Finn of Campbellsville, she is survived by the following:
    Two sons: Larry Finn and Jeff Finn, both of Campbellsville, KY
  • Two grandsons: Jordan Finn and wife, Andrea and Tanner Finn of Campbellsville, KY

  • Two great grandsons: Evan and Camden Finn

  • Several nieces and nephews and many other relatives and friends.
She was preceded in death by one brother and four sisters: Garner Murrell, Margaret Harlan, Maxine Clark, Gladys Blaydes and Eleanor Parke.
