Family requests visitation on Monday, June 13, 2016 after 2pmCT, at Ballou & Stotts Funeral Home, 304 N Main Street, Burkesville, KY. Wayne "Buddy" Thacker, 68, Evansville, IN (1947-2016) Buddy was born on September 10, 1947 in Cumberland County, KY. He was the son of the late Robert "Bob" and Bessie Riddle Thacker. He died Friday, June 10, 2016, in Evansville, Vanderburgh County, IN, at the age of 68 years, nine months. He was an U. S. Army Veteran having served in the Vietnam War. He was a recipient of the Purple Heart. In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by his stepmother, Geneva Thacker; his special friend, Sherry Nation; siblings, Billy Joe Thacker, Aline Riddle, Malba Perkins, Robert Earl Thacker, Willie J. Thacker, and Imogene Thacker. Survivors include:
