Mr. Larry Duane Workman of Greensburg, KY, departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, KY.

Cremation rites were accorded Mr. Workman by the L.R. Petty Funeral Home and Cremation Service, 1765 New Columbia Road, Campbellsville, KY. There was no public visitation.

Mr. Larry Duane Workman of Greensburg, KY, was born on December 19, 1960 in Chicago, Illinois. He was the son of the late Harland "Hoot" Gibson and Patricia (Herzig) Workman. He departed this life on Monday, June 6, 2016 at the Jane Todd Crawford Hospital in Greensburg, Green County, KY, at the age of 55 years, five months, and 18 days of age.

He was the owner and operator of a tractor trailer for several years. Mr. Workman professed faith in Christ and was of the Baptist faith.

He leaves to mourn his passing:
  • His long-time companion and fiancee: Dale Rae Conner of Greensburg, KY

  • One son: Brian Lee Workman and wife Lisa of California

  • One daughter: Ashley Hill and husband Kash of Greensburg, KY

  • Several nieces and nephews

  • A close friend: Clayton Jessie of Shelbyville, KY

  • And a host of other family and friends
Besides his parents, he was also preceded in death by a son, Brandon Gore, and a brother, Dale Gibson.
