The Columbia/Adair County Fire Department would like to remind everyone that every dollar contributed is received back to the Adair County School System or Adair County Children through Kosairs Charities. Here are the totals for the 2016 Crusade for Children turned in on Saturday, June 4, 2016:
  • Knifley Fire Department $311.70
  • Breeding Area Volunteer Fire Department $1,432.49
  • Columbia/Adair County Fire Department $26,961.50

- Total For Adair County is: $28,705.69

The turnout event was held the at the Charles Sparks Reflection Park, at the State Fire Rescue Training Center, 385 Old Greensburg Road, Campbellsville, KY.

Cody's 5K group presents $5,007 check to Crusade

A Big check for the Columbia Fire Department Crusade for Children Drive, was presented from Kody's 5K, raised in honor of one Adair County's all time favorite sons, the late Kody Pelly. Above - Blake Maulden, Abby Maulden, Kennedy Ray, Courtney Maulden, Grant Loy, Anderson Ray, Grayson Bragg, Jennifer Ray, Rita Bragg, Chris Bragg, Kim Pelly, Wayne Ray, James Maulden, and Tyler Solum. Kody's wonderful legacy lives on.
