Lillian Burchett, 89, of Jamestown, KY passed away on Friday June 3, 2016, at the Russell County Hospital, Russell Springs, KY.

Funeral Services for Lillian Burchett will be Monday, June 6, 2pmCT, at H.E. Pruitt Memory Chapel in Jamestown, KY with Pastor Kelly Burton, Jr. officiating. Friends may visit after 10amCT on Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in the Jamestown City Cemetery, 201 N Main Street, Jamestown, KY.

She was born in Jamestown, Russell County, KY on April 25, 1927. She was a daughter of the late Vertie Mae (Russell) and Ray Pierce. She died Friday, June 3, 2016, in Russell Springs, Russell County, KY, at the age of 89 years, one month, and nine days. Lillian is survived by:
  • One son: Marvin (Wanda) Burchett, of Jamestown, KY

  • A granddaughter: Glenda Burchett, of Jamestown, KY

  • Five sisters; Wanda Flatt and Alva Hadley of Jamestown, KY; Evelyn Cape of Russell Springs, KY; and Helen Marcum and Geneva Pierce, both of Albany, KY.
She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Gordon Burchett, one brother Kenneth Pierce and one sister Lou Wells.
